Hi I’m Deborah
I’m the proud Mom of three terrific young adults, a daughter and two sons.
I’m a yoga teacher, Montessori educator, Mothering support coach, writer, musician and friend.
I became a Mom at age thirty-two.
By that time, I had already had a career as a Montessori Teacher and School Director. I’d lived abroad twice, spent a semester sailing the Mediterranean Sea, and I even climbed Mt. Vesuvius!
I could speak enough French, Italian and German to get myself around, converse with the local people and order something edible most of the time! I trained as a competitive swimmer, modern dancer and tri-athlete for the joy and community those disciplines had to offer.
The adventure of Motherhood far surpasses all my other adventures by far. For me, being a Mom is an adventure of love. Not just any love. Big love! Powerful Love! Divine Love! Unbreakable Love!
I’m grateful for the moms who came before me, who invited me to their births and into their lives, for my cat Mittens, who allowed me to sit by her side countless times while she birthed her kittens in my closet.
I’m grateful to my Mom who gave her heart and soul to Mothering and gave up so much in order to do so.
I’m forever grateful to my three children for choosing me to be their mom and for the joy of traveling this life together.
Welcome to this great adventure! I am honored to walk this path with you and share the nuggets of wisdom I continue to learn along the way.
“Bearing a child is not a human job. It is a totally Divine, Divine, Divine, Divine, Divine job.”
